My journey of becoming visible absolutely involved a journey into the darkness, where I honestly felt at the time would be where my life would remain. I now know that my journey to awakening, to becoming visible was never meant to be a path, but a constant cycle of learning and letting go, an invitation to transform and expand without a finishing line or a list of goals in sight! Wisdom is truly a wonderful thing and I can’t begin to tell you how many lists and goals I had at the start of my journey! Going through all of that expansion and transformation tested every part of me daily. I almost gave up everything ; and in that beautiful moment of awareness I awoke, my life completely changed- and what has been a truly incredible and insprational journey began.

I was delighted to hear that I was one of the finalists under the Training and Coaching category of the North West Women’s Enterprise Vision Awards 2018 (EVAS 2018). I have spent most of my working career developing and delivering training and coaching programmes to help to make a difference to the lives of the people and organisations I have worked with. I was so thrilled my work was recognised and got to wear a posh frock!

I believe that in order to change the world, or at least our part of it we need women first to change ourselves; change how we tell and share stories about who we are. Our label filled stories do not serve us and keep us trapped in a space that has no light, and I know how awful that feels. Writing a different story is one of the most liberating and transformative things you can ever do for yourself.
