Emerging is the moment we have awoken and acknowledge that it is time to write a new story. A story of hope and trust, a story of becoming conscious, of rising , of blossoming, of nourishing the beautiful part of you that has been hidden in darkness for too long. Emerging is a transitional time of journeying from the darkness into your true light, of discovering and bringing back your feminine voice, of rising. Just like flowers that have blossomed in the Summer, you will look around and see that you are surrounded by others, each on her own journey of emerging, and yet not alone. Connected by a desire to rise and become visible.

“My journey with Inspire has been long and life changing. I began Finding me as a woman who feared most things; I would hide behind and cling onto other women, afraid to speak, afraid to be visible. I had spent most of my life trying to be invisible, filling my time with helping and being there for other people. I have come such a long way, learning new skills, making new friends and being part of something that has helped so many other women. I have watched how Finding Me has given women like me the confidence to live their lives and to do things they love”.
“A lot of the women I started my journey with have very different lives now. I have recently began taking Inspire out into the Community with Lesley whose story can be found on this site too. It was quite scary taking those first steps, meeting new people, my negative talk started again but I knew I could do it. I love speaking with other women listening to their stories, their journeys. It’s great to be able to share my story in the hope that it will Inspire ladies not to be scared of life. To emerge from just existing to loving life! Each day I am feeling more confident about this new role. I am enjoying learning new skills and I am getting closer to doing something that I thought was only ever a dream. A few months ago I opened our Women Celebrating Women event with Getting to Know You Bingo something I never felt I would ever do. My journey of becoming visible has not been easy I had to step out of my comfort zone, I am so happy that I did. I am proud of how far I have come and I know my confidence is growing every day. I have a family of women who encourage me and believe in me and who celebrate every small step that I take”.
